Greetings all!!
We come before you today with news! Our merchant-crat of 20 plus years is retiring! Our dear, steadfast Mistress Saraphina Maslowska will be training our new merchant-crats this year, Master Odhran macc Corbain and Lord Maitiu of the Hills, who will take over in 2026, following in her footsteps of the wonderful organization she has created over the years!
We are so thankful to have had her through these decades to help build our merchant area into the wonderful marketplace that it is! We are also grateful that she has agreed to be an advisor to future merchant-crats whenever they need help or advice!
Please join us in helping Seraphina celebrate this well-earned retirement by stopping by her booth at, “It’s a Seraphina”, to let her know how awesome it has been to have her, drop off a card or gift, and let her know how much she has been appreciated!
With this news, Seraphina has a few words to say to the populace and her amazing crew:
“It has been a lot of work, but it has been very gratifying. There have been so many happy memories made working with the merchants and merchant staff. This job’s greatest reward has been the many friendships I have made with merchants, shoppers, and staff over the years. I would like to thank the site owners, Larry, Collette, Brian, and Kim for all they have done to improve the merchant area. I could not have done this without the constant help from my husband, Cynric of Bedwyn. I owe gratitude to so many people who have worked in the merchant department over the years. I’d like to thank and acknowledge all the years Duke Brian Mac Brand (Darkwood armory) who’s been helping since I started; Master Dafydd ap y Knith, Sir Wilhelm von Bach, Master Ivarr Runamagi, Mistress Isabella della Rosa, Mistress Ysabeau of Prague, Baroness Amerinda di Pragua, Master Haraldr Bassi, HL Jayne Cobham, Barroness Katherine bon Temps, and Farulf Hepni (Scott from feed the Ravens) all who have contributed over 10 year each to the success of the merchant department. “
Sincerely,
Seraphina Maslowska
